Pivot towards your FULL POTENTIAL

There was a pivot that happened for me well before Corona virus and that I've seen happen for many others over the course of decades of working with people on personal development. ⁣

Its the moment when they realize that EVERYTHING is about what they are put here to do. Then magic seems to happen and the next realization is that EVERYTHING rises and falls on taking what we have all been given, a body, a mind, and a spirit, and investing in that, so that it grows. With massive intention. Because bodies minds and spirits don't grow without massive intention. They atrophy. And if they atrophy, they are not healthy.⁣

There are millions (I am guessing) of reasons not to invest in one of these 3 aspects of our given birthrights.  Habit, assumptions, and just ignorance are the biggest reasons that I have seen.  Lots of folks think of building and growing their physical body, knowing it will atrophy and be unhealthy otherwise, but growing our brains and our mental health/emotional health seem to be a ignored by habit and the assumption that we are born healthy in these areas so no intention or investment is needed.  Just the body.

I have seen over and over when someone puts as much energy as it takes to learn, act, learn, try, and learn some more to become as physically fit, mentally fit, and emotionally fit as they can, their whole lives take a shape that looks alot like their dreams.

I find it hard to argue with the opinion that these 3 areas of "fitness" would happen without massive effort and intention.

I have heard that humans are the only living thing that will choose not to reach their full potential.  A tree always grows as tall as it can...reaches it full potential.  And humans are not happy, satisfied, content, unless they are doing the same.

So it follows that if the default setting if we are not intentionally building, developing and growing our body, mind and spirit is an unhealthy body, and unhealthy mind, and an unhealthy spirit, then its no wonder we are not reaching our full potential.

Without this massive intention and focus on developing these 3 things, it seems that the common denominators are:

  • lethargy
  • guilt
  • procrastination
  • comparison
  • hopelessness
  • neediness
  • anger
  • fear
  • anxiousness
  • sadness
  • apathy
  • avoidance
  • disinterest
And if you believe or are entertaining believing you are here for a purpose, its pretty impossible to imagine moving anywhere NEAR that purpose in these states.  Or being someone who is mentally, physically or emotionally unhealthy.

Anthony Robbins teaches alot about state and I have found it to be impossible to disprove.

According to Tony: “The state that you're in at any given moment determines your perceptions of reality and thus your decisions and behavior. In other words, your behavior is not the result of your ability, but of the state that you're in at this moment.”

If you change your state you change your actions and that sets you on a different path.  Investing in these 3 things is like an insurance policy for the best possible state you can be in.  The rest flows from there.

Ignore the physical, you're not healthy.
Ignore the mental, you're not healthy.
Ignore the emotional / spiritual, you're not healthy.

The unrest is there, it may have just been there is a blind spot for us in one of these three areas that when we realize we were ignoring - CHANGES EVERYTHING!

Theres an old story about Rosa Parks I read where she was asked if she meant to start a Revolution, and she replied something like  - I wasn't looking to start a revolution.  I didn't know what everyone else was doing, I just knew what I was doing.

It struck a cord with me years ago, and I've found that to be one heck of a guiding light.  I mean there is massive power in not caring what "everyone else" is doing.  Unless you are cheering them on.

So what may seem normal is to pay a little attention to physical, some people seem to care about growing mentally, and some do some emotional health stuff "if they need it."  But no need to be obsessed.

I actually think you should become obsessed.

EVERYTHING changes when we began to focus on physical, mental, and emotional and spiritual health with this kind of focus. The greatest improvements in life for me (and I observe thousands more) is in the clarity and purpose that comes from a radical focus on building your own "house."

I think of it as pouring into my foundation, and then it makes everything else stronger because its built on something strong.

Emotionally and Spiritually - pouring into the things that support hope and mental health - committing to read/study on faith, pray, journal, meditate, therapy, there are so many options. The only option is no intention plan.

Mentally - pouring into learning EVERYTHING that our curiosity is piqued about.  Grabbing different sources, using the best ones we can find and being willing to be bad at something before we are good!  Almost everything we want to know or do is a matter of learning how and if there is nothing we cannot learn.

Physically - pouring time and energy and resources into finding and learning the answers to get fit and grow in health.

The overriding approach is that NO amount of time or energy is too much in these areas.  Because it pays exponential dividends in all other areas, AND because its impossible to be like that tree and grow to our "full height" without first being healthy in these 3 areas.

If you are not improving your mental health, its not a given AT ALL.
If you are not investing in your mental health its not growing, and its not healthy.
And mentally unhealthy people do not reach their potential.
Physically unhealthy people do not either.

Over and over, when the focus on these 3 things increases, the improvement in all the areas of life is guaranteed!

Relationships
Work
Success
Daily joy
Satisfaction
Productivity
Service
Purpose

This is where "UnCommon Optimism" comes from.  Knowing that every single person can choose to build on what they were given to get unstuck and reach their full potential gives me optimism I can't find anywhere else!

Thats all I got!

Writing the next chapter....

In the last couple of weeks we have a couple 100 new people here πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌ
Whether you’re new here or not you may not know you’re following what I hope is a comeback story⁣.

As a former gym owner and recently laid off social networking leader, the world has been, as they say my oyster as I found myself back to square 1 less than a year ago. ⁣

And I began at square 1 at an all time physical and mental low when a 15 minute phone call removed my entire business Id built through nearly 2 decades of long hours. ⁣

So what you do? You learn, adapt and pivot. ⁣

And if you’re me you invite people on a journey of rebuilding. ⁣

Knowing I’ve gained knowledge, skills, and most important of all FRIENDS through serving customers and building teams.⁣

Im not made to sit and I won’t sit. So a small plan for the next chapter has come together. What is it?⁣

Going on facts…⁣

-I love the opportunity to make a difference for people to feel better and do more in their lives as well as their finances/business.⁣
- I no longer believe in just a product or service business but believe in having both.⁣
-I know I can give killer service to people and help them get started by giving credibility to a trustworthy product or service.⁣
-I know I can teach and train people to reach their goals.⁣

The focus on my time is pioneering a new industry and has been grassroots.
WE ARE CREATING A TEAM OF PEOPLE GETTING THE MOST FROM EXCEPTIONAL QUALITY CBD PHYSICALLY AND FINANCIALLY.
CBD is something that I’ve used and loved that would allow me to do better.
I am nearly 100 customer strong and a few entrepreneurial spirited teammates strong in a pretty short time. I have a goal of 300 customers and 5 teammates this year and I am excited to see where that goes!⁣
On the service side ... Ive invested in myself and I am learning to grow that business using social networking with new skills and I am excited to share with people what I've learned, once I've tested the skills because I see a HUGE need.⁣

I want to include people on this journey as I am truly starting from SCRATCH.... except, I have⁣

- a whole bunch of experience⁣
- a whole bunch of lessons⁣

I can use what I've learned to do what I know works and adjust and pivot with the market to grow along with the changes! ⁣

Trying new things and being willing to fail is the best path to success. So here I go. Im sure there will be more to come.⁣

Thank you for being here and I hope this gives you an accurate picture on where I am when it comes to the “what’s next” side of things for those that want to know!⁣

Anxiety and Paralysis of Analysis

Have you ever noticed that if you aren't in the right place mentally you also suffer physically and vice versa?

Your Environment is EVERYTHING!

When I say environment, I'm not just referring to where you are geographically. I'm referring to your mental, physical, and emotional environment.

What is your mental environment like? Have you developed a positive, productive, and proactive mental environment? Do you take responsibility for where you are right now?

What is your physical environment like? Are you dedicated to eating clean? Training Hard Consistently? Do you drink enough water? Do you get enough rest?

The same questions can be applied to your Emotional Environment.

If any of the 3 are out of whack, you will have trouble achieving happiness, success, balance, and so on.

Sometimes before you can move forward, you have to go backward. What I mean by that is you need to understand why you do what you do. Why you think what you think. Why you feel the way you feel. And then understand that these things are in your direct control.

Control your Environments. Choose to be in a good place.

Life is too short to live reactively. Take responsibility for where you are right now, and then CHOOSE to make the correct changes.

Action alleviates anxiety.

Its all in your head.

Thats all I got!  Have a great weekend,
Anna :)

Is CBD good for you?

Here are 7 things you may or may not know about your body (and why its amazing to be ULTRA)!
  1. You and all animals with a spine have an endocannabinoid system (ECS), we iust didn’t know it until the 90’s.
  2. Its job is to balance every single other system in the body.  So, The ECS regulates your entire body, every single system🀯
  3. We already produce cannabinoids and now we know many of us with symptoms are deficient so our ECS is out of balance!
  4. The body senses changes in & around it and the ECS is activated to CORRECT it!
  5. The ECS works on specific problems & does NOT take a general approach.
  6. Therefore, if the ECS is activated to a specific problem, it actually does so by balancing all your systems which triggers the system with the problem to then correct itself.
  7. The body is BRILLIANT✨

Once the body is balanced, amazing things happen....You become ULTRA!

The Truth and Lies about MLM

With the quarantine and the movement of our world towards all things Social Media marketing, I wanted to take fa few minutes and share some truth and lies about MLM.  It is not the magic bullet for everyone so its important to hear some unbiased truth.

having built 2 businesses predicting multiple millions in the health and wellness space(one MLM) and looking forward to build another MLM among other endeavors, I wanted to take my resources of 1000s of hours and dollars of paid training and 10, 000 more in unpaid training and experience and multiply that into people who it will add value to.

Therefore..... if you are looking at MLM, this video is for YOU!

The questions I cover are:
  1. Do you have to sell?  Yes and No, I define selling and give some realities.
  2. How does it compare to starting a Brick and Mortar (pros and cons)? There are so many similarities.  And some key differences.  One I didn't mention in the video that I will here is that with a Brick and Mortar you are now in real estate and its now about dollars per square foot no matter if you'e selling food, doing hair, have a coat shop, a travel agency, or you are a Doctor's office.  You do have to think differently there.
  3. Is it really easy money? It is pretty simple and with enthusiasm you can be successful, it will take skill to keep that success and grow it.
  4. Do I have to sell to my friends and family?  There is a big requirement to answer this.
  5. Do I have to invest weeks on end watching and attending every training to make any money?  You will need to do some basic things, but you may find this approach simplifies your life if you do decide to take the next step.
There are so many questions but these are recurring in my experience talking to people looking to know more.  I hope there are some gold nuggets in here for you....remember its just my experience and my opinion after all.  Make your pro and con list and factor in YOUR needs and goals and please share additional questions with me below!  I expect there are alot more questions and opinions out there!  Best, Anna

Fitness Update and Strategies for Sanity on a Pineapple

It is hard to leave the day behind don't you think?  Especially in this COVID-19 world where we are at home working and trying to find sane routines without the natural travel that usually occurs between each phase of our daily lives, acting as kind of the period to end of each sentence that makes up the paragraph of our day.  The jokes about the commute from one room to the other to "work" are kind of funny not funny these days.

I have worked from anywhere and home for the better part of 15 years so I have learned ALOT of lessons serving me right now.  For example, a meal hits totally different if you haven't mentally left whatever you were doing prior and still have things to do after it!  Even the best meal with a glass of your favorite wine drowns in all of that.

I love a workout for a period at the end of a workday.  Today landed me on the end of this pineapple to recover.  And my personal strong preference is to work and be done early afternoon.  I have no plans for a career that keeps me tied up all night.  I have had deep talks with alot of fellow soloprenuers who feel exactly this same way.  In fact the entire reason made the gut-wrenching decision to sell my brick and mortar business in favor of an online business was because of the lack of control over my time and my personal preferences - even tho I LOVED THE WORK!

So while Im not deadlifting 200 pounds anymore, I can now not just do more than 10 squats without a back spasm for 3 days, I can do 200!  No weight, but still.  I can move, and mentally, that is a MUST.  I've also re-adopted an old obsession.  Before I was a private personal studio owner, I was a yoga enthusiast.  I did 4-5 hours a week and even found myself at some amazing retreats just for Yogis.  I am finding that love again and it started with 10 minute videos.

So when I say I am rebuilding my physical self from ZERO... I ain't EVEN kidding!

After 2 years of trying to walk our dogs 1-2 miles a day, that walk has gone from the meat of my "workout" for the day to an after workout walk.

So even at the injured, fatigued, mentally fogged worst, I still pushed, its just the version of pushing myself (10 squats and a 1 mile walk) was humbling.  Being injured, then depressed, then overweight then losing a business is NO JOKE on the ego.  But, while I was pushing a boulder up a mountain, I managed AFTER YEARS to gain momentum.

For my entrepreneur friends, what a tall order to be able to leave a day behind.
Im working very hard to create this next chapter using ALL the lessons I've learned so that I am not serving my own creation but the other way around.

I hope you are too!

Its all in your head (I used to sign my very first blogs building my first busies this way!  I think I'll use it again!

10 Imperfect things about me

⭐️⭐️
HI TO THE NEW PEEPS πŸ‘‹πŸΌ It is introduction day for the new followers on the gram and the whole crew here. Here are 10 Imperfect things about me to get to know me:) Does any of this resonate with ANYONE? Please and introduce yourself to me! And because one of the things that holds me back is how IMPERFECT I am, I wanted to start using that as my mesage. My EGO wants me to stay hidden so that doesn’t show. But if I want to give more and add more value then I have to step into all of that. Here is to UNCURATED content!⁣
and so for fun, here are 10 imperfect things about me⁣

I have a huge case of imposter syndrome. I feel incredibly mediocre in every way even tho I see legit greatness in everyone I know.⁣
Yet I have confidence in what I know about fitness and nutrition and business. So I am confident about what I know, less about what I can do? Weird!⁣
I worry that all my ideas are just that person who talks but doesn’t walk (hmmm…see #1)⁣
I have no idea what Im doing as a parent, I worry every day!⁣
I am genetically predisposed to be overweight from every angle, from how my body craves food, metabolizes what Im genetically designed to want, and how it uses it and even how predisposed I am to burn fat in exercise including genetically low energy levels coupled with a low response to caffeine! Its comical, really!⁣
I can be ridiculously LAZY. I really want to write books about all I’ve learned yet the effort and fear of irrelevance stops me.⁣
I fell in love with self-development from the first book I read and it changed the course of my life and how I view myself, simultaneously think it can become a crutch and an obstacle to real action plus all the rah rah and garage in the space makes me want to stay far far away. Including those who “coach” on things they have no track record for helping others with or haven’t at least done personally. ⁣
No matter how much money I make or have, I always worry about money. I think the least worried I will ever be is when I have none, so I have nothing to lose if that makes sense… NO IT DOES NOT but its true!⁣
I can be super social and love new people and can also hav social anxiety. I struggle with anxiousness and can channel it into achievement or lock down and hide out. ⁣
I struggle with burnout that can lead to depression, usually just leads to hiding out and makes me feel like an imposter —full circle to #1!⁣
BONUS: I literally have no idea why I have a great husband and great marriage. I have put less “effort” into that than other things and it seems to be one of life’s gifts. I’ve been asked to share more about that but I always say its because I married the right guy! ⁣

Bonus 2: I don’t have the patience to correct typos. I’m working on it. It’s a long story I just accept my apologies in advance! πŸ˜‡
